BUFFALO, NY (February 15, 2019) --- Continuing our comitment to player development, the WNY Flash Academy today announced the hiring of Colton Bly. Colton joins us in a full time role as we continually strive to provide the best possible experience for our players and to change the landscape for WNY players.

We are delighted to announce the full time hiring of Colton Bly. Colton officially starts at the WNY Flash Academy on Monday February 17th, following a long hire process which began back in December.

Colton is an excellent addition to our staff. First and foremost he is a hard working conscientious individual who, importantly, understands the game, coaching, and how we want to develop players. Colton has experience coaching at the youth and high school levels, holds a USSF 'C' License and is pursuing his 'B' license. Colton holds United Soccer Coaches GK licensing and is a student of the 3four3 coaching movement. Colton will primarily work in our boys program.
Colton played at the collegiate level with Pitt Bradford, holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education, and prior to joining our club was the Director of Coaching at BC United Soccer Club.
Colton will coach multiple Academy teams, lead and revamp our camp program and work closely with our ever expanding staff as we continue to change the landscape for youth soccer players in WNY.

Bly commented “During the interview process it was evident how carefully they assessed their candidates. I had the pleasure of having conversations with everyone, Aaran, Rob, Gary, Rob Jackman, and Renee. One thing was clear to me immediately: this is an elite environment run by elite, hard-working people. The energy in the building to give your best every single day aligns with my personal values, and I cannot wait to get started. Thank you to Alex, Aaran, Rob, and the staff for this incredible opportunity. I will bring my best every day to help push the WNY Flash to new heights.”

Please welcome Colton if you see him around the facility and make him feel a part of the Flash Family right away.
